New things on FA:

1. New forum - V.E.N.O.M. - the already much-maligned discussion forum, where we're trying to get the posters to hew to the spirit of the style of National Forensics League Extemp and Debate rules, at least in terms of argument structure and the concept of supporting evidence.

Now, is it obvious that I was a frustrated high school debater? I did Extemp in 8th and 9th grade (wibble, during the Reagan administration!) but when I transfered schools in 10th grade, my new school didn't have a debate program, so I had to give it up. Clearly, I've been repressing it for years. ;)

So, again, anyone with more NFL experience than I have, please let me know, because we're really hoping to flesh out the structure of the forum, and input from debaters & extempers would be great!

2. New cool thing - FA's Site Map - a text index of the whole of the site. There's some colour in it, but it should be quick-loading for everyone, even those with slower connections & computers.

3. New icons - We've added a lot to the link to FA page, and included a number of great new icons. More coming soon!

The site map is so spectacularly more accessible and easier to use. *happy*

I'm definitely digging the site map. When I was a newbie, I was Scared of FAP, just because it was so big and imposing and seemingly impossible to navigate. Much like the Times Square subway station. But like said subway station, I eventually mastered it. I did take quite a while though -- site maps make things easier. So yay!
