I actually created this before the new code-free LJ generation stuff started, but I hadn't had a chance to pretty it up & launch it yet.

But here it is: 50filmchallenge. Consider it the sequel to the 50bookchallenge, but, obviously, focused on films. I think it's fine to start posting in it now, but I think it makes more sense for everyone to start back counting with "Film #1" as of January 1. I'm thinking movies should only count the first time one sees them, too, or at least, once one sees the failsafe of 75% of it.

Feel free to plug it - and if anyone wants to make some generic "movie" and/or "popcorn" icons to donate to the Community, that would be great!

Well, it's a bit late now for me to do the 50bookchallenge for 2003, in't it? ::grin:: So, are you going to start a new one for 2004? If so, I'd love to do it. Don't think I'll do 50films, though. There is no WAY I'll see 50 films in one year. Maybe 20, but even that's a lot, for me. ::grin::

So, please let me know if you're starting a new book club next year. :-)
