[livejournal.com profile] nicolae: Probably ask her if she understands just how many people have discovered that they love writing because of their work on their fanfics, and tell her how many thousands of people have learned about the craft of writing because they love playing in her universe.

[livejournal.com profile] alexmalfoy: On my left-hand side, with pillows at my back. Anything else risks compression of this blood vessel on my right hand side, which is Not Good for Jumper.

[livejournal.com profile] madhuri567: If I'm busy, I'll say so when you buzz me. It's never a problem to YM me and ask if I have a moment - or more!

[livejournal.com profile] aome: No, it didn't! And I truly hope that tears won't stain it - it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen - and it goes perfectly with the fabric I've picked out for my Comfey Chair. Loff you so much!

[livejournal.com profile] reenka: Right now, nothing. I'm saving up fics on my palm pilot, so I can read them after Jumper is born when I'm sitting in his room in the wee hours of the night. The only things I'm reading between now and then are those I'm beta reading.

[livejournal.com profile] jayabear: Less insomniac than I was, which is a good thing.

[livejournal.com profile] aegeus: Because he has a compass and knows how to use it. Also, I don't know how to change the styles.

[livejournal.com profile] anatsuno: You'll have to ask help@hp2003.org - I honestly don't know :(

[livejournal.com profile] isilya: It's always been shiny and happy, apart from the occasionally scary times, like a year ago today, when it was Bad, Bad, Bad.

[livejournal.com profile] dangel: 2005 and 2008. Summer.

[livejournal.com profile] kaitie711: : blushes : - I read email in the elevator, on my blackberry.

[livejournal.com profile] ari_o: Yes, of course! Plus, it's my husband's birthday!

[livejournal.com profile] moonlight69: I think something Nimbusy?

[livejournal.com profile] _lindsay_: These days, at least 6 hours. Sometimes 8. This summer? Probably 4.

[livejournal.com profile] jiggery_pokery: I think this is it. If Jumper is healthy and well, I'm done.

[livejournal.com profile] saucy_wench: Sticky Toffee

[livejournal.com profile] jlh: When I was 11 and he had this adorable pudding bowl haircut and there was all this string and it was just... Oh, amazing.

[livejournal.com profile] sundancekid: We met at a "meet market" hosted by the UJA in NYC - that year, it was at the Paramount at Madison Square Garden - we were introduced by our mutual friend Rhonda (who he'd gone out with twice earlier in the summer) and then Rhonda's then-best-friend Stephanie showed up and got all hysterical to see Aaron because he'd been her babysitter when he was in high school and she was 8, and they started hanging out together and she thought we'd be perfect for each other because we're both bibliomaniacs and she was right.

[livejournal.com profile] ixchelmala: I read an article in the Washington Post the day before GoF was released, talking about this Yahoo Club called Harry Potter for Grownups. It took about 2 hours to find the group, but I joined and then...

[livejournal.com profile] nostrademons: See my answer to [livejournal.com profile] kaitie711.

[livejournal.com profile] alicey: Never!

[livejournal.com profile] morganmalfoy: Hmmm. Including the hour-long conversations with Gwen about Nimbus - 2003 and with Cassie about DV stuff, probably 5-6 hours during the week, and maybe an hour on weekends (it's hard for me to get time to myself on the weekends).

[livejournal.com profile] eliasheldon: I have great hair (apart from the grey bits), I have a great family, and I have great friends. But it's really all about the hair.

[livejournal.com profile] tabithajones: So badly. Not daquaris, as I can enjoy those booze-free, but nothing quite matches the taste of a lime one, with chips and salsa on the side.

[livejournal.com profile] bildungsroman: Yes, a manual smith-corona from about 1927, and an electric from the late 60s, which was my grandfather's. The manual is gold-coloured (I think it's brass) and the electric is bright blue. Harry's learned how to type his name on them.

[livejournal.com profile] buffymaraschina: Of all time? Xanadu. Everyone needs a guilty pleasure.

[livejournal.com profile] smilie117: See my answer to [livejournal.com profile] kaitie711 and my answer to See my answer to [livejournal.com profile] muffinbutt.

[livejournal.com profile] muffinbutt: A bit tiring. I need a massage.

[livejournal.com profile] nmalfoy: I didn't! It was this collective thing that people had been talking about for *months* before we actually did it. A lot of people thought there was a need for it, and the downtime on ffn in the summer of 2001, combined with the decision that spring to not allow discussion of fanfic on HPfGU's main list and the whole attitude from some of the admins at ffn made it clear that the fandom needed its own place to post and discuss fics.

[livejournal.com profile] alyeska: See my answer to [livejournal.com profile] kaitie711.

[livejournal.com profile] mark356: Hmmm. I'd guess over 3000, but many of those have been simply to review them or code them for FA.

[livejournal.com profile] scarfie: I'm not that blonde anymore, and certainly not that slim right now, so I think I'd be compelled to share. But if anyone wants to get me that lovely birdbath as a house rewarming present when our renovations are done...

[livejournal.com profile] debellatrix: Sigh. Okay. We're dried in, which means that all the windows and doors (bar one, which is being filled by wood right now) are done, and they're starting with the drywall this week, but we're still 5-6 weeks from completion and I haven't selected our wall paint colours yet. Bright or pastel? Any recommendations?

[livejournal.com profile] twelveeyes: Diet coke, daily.

[livejournal.com profile] perceval: Erp. Do you really want the answer to this? I'm one of the very lucky ones - both conceptions were on our first try. I really hope this didn't upset you...
