I don't have a chance to read through my whole friends page now to see, and I've been offline for about 40 hours with a stomach flu...

Anyhow, while recovering yesterday I read the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, including the article about a Daredevil spinoff, which quotes Kevin Smith, in musing about who'd make a good villain in a Daredevil sequel:
And director and comic aficionado Kevin Smith (who appears in the film as a lab assistant) offers another offbeat casting idea: ''Matt Damon would be hot. America wants to see the inevitable: Ben Affleck and Damon making out.

The reason for my posting this here is because I think Mr Smith is being quite unfair in presuming that those who don't live in America haven't been asking for just this in various LJ postings recently. Silly Mr Smith for blogging instead of LJing...

While I would rather see Jude Law and Orlando Bloom making out, I would go see that movie if they actually did. :D

Um. What was all that wibbling about Wilde a few weeks back, then?

One of my (male) friends discovered in a friendly game of "silent mail" last time, that Loki and Barthleby are indeed gay.
So, why doesn't Kevin Smith, who has worked with Damon and Affleck (several times in Affleck's case) make them make out in one of his own movies?

*?* I wibbled about stupid people being homophobic in that post, not about the gorgeous Jude Law making out. ;) What do you mean?

While I agree with [Unknown site tag] that Rent Boy Orli and Bosie Jude should make out, Ben/Matt would be just fine. And we can connect them because Matt and Jude ALMOST made out in The Talented Mr. Ripley...

I read this yesterday as well and was like, "Oh, I should LJ it" and then promptly forgot. Thank you for bringing it up again and allowing me to laugh and smile all over again!!

Also, glad you're feeling better!!

They don't make out in Wilde, alas. Orlando is in the movie for all of thirty seconds.

Jude Law does make out with Stephen Fry, though, if that's your thing. ;)

i would totally pay to see that happen. and i have a feeling that the people who did walk out of the theatre would just mean less heads between me and the screen, so all is goodness.

heidi, DTUT is mad cool. we had a ton of fun yesterday, and decided that you will probably explode during nimbus, trying to blackberry everyone to keep up. do prove us wrong. =).

feel better!

Yes, I think a good many people would want to see that. The fact that it's described as "inevitable" is just great.

I must've missed that. I was talking about the same posts that [livejournal.com profile] sundancekid was talking about...

Strawberry fondue, fruit bar, rice crispie treat or s'mores?

actually, i had a brownie. but jim's daughters enjoyed the s'mores greatly. we were afraid to have more than two or three over an open flame at a time. don't worry, you were all there in spirit -- you didn't feel us channelling the list? =)
