It's based on what blog got yours started. If you started your LJ based on FA's LJ, then you'd be a sibling blog to Heidi's. If you started based on someone else, then you'd most likely not be a sibling.
For example, slightlights gave me my LJ code, so she'd be my parent blog. Anyone else who got an LJ code from her would be my siblings, or if they were inspired by Slightlights' but bought a code, they could still list her as parent.
