and for the first time, had a moment to think about what all this means, in reading all of your LJs and a bunch of blogs - and then
moonstruck4rjl's LJ spurred me to realise...
While it's still possible to disagree with people about interpritations of different bits of canon ("was Lily in love with Snape?" "Is Draco a reasonably good Quidditch player?" "Is Colin Creevey's camera a Muggle one? What about the film?") you can't really hate someone who's banded with you, either because they donated or because they promoted the Get A Clue project...
And that's a really good feeling to end the year with!
Thanks for everything, everyone - it's been one heck of a week!

Date: 2002-12-12 03:03 pm (UTC)I got your fax, but I hope there weren't any comments on pages 5-7, 'cause I didn't get those. And you confused the clerks, so put the last name on next time!
I'll call you tomorrow. I've got more nagging questions.
And congrats on TLC. You guys were wonderful!
Finn stuff.
Date: 2002-12-13 01:11 am (UTC)I had to come and check your journal out properly based on our common lust for the brothers Finn.
They *are* totally shaggable aren't they?
Also you cheered me up by telling me that my husband would obviously have a crush on a Finn brother by virtue of him having a pulse. I now want to slash them...
Can I add you to my friends list? Finding Finn fans outside of the Southern Hemisphere is always a big deal to me.

Date: 2002-12-13 11:16 am (UTC)And of course there are FinnFanz in the northern hemisphere - back in 1998, I traveled to Orlando, LA and NYC to see Neil in concert a few times - but the only time I've ever seen Tim was opening for 10,000 Maniacs in NYC back in 1989. Woe.
