Yay! Michela (aka Laura Hale, aka CerealFan, aka PurplePopple on SugarQuill) finally admitted publicly that she emailed my law firm back in the aftermath of CassieGate! See, here!

Oh, and the newest regular poster on her board? SINEAD!

Who are these people? Do they have anything better to do with their time than complain about something that was resolved nearly a year ago?

Good for you, though, that she's finally admitted what she did. That must be extremely satisfying.

O_O

Just read a little bit in the thread about Cassie. Hey, I don't believe everything anybody says, or trust people implicitely just because I like their fic. But those people are paranoid! I just hope they lie low and never crawl to the surface of what I know as the fandom. *shudders*

eeek. According to one of L's posts in that thread, posting publicly the messages written to you by a stalker is "violation of copyright" !!! As if the stalker has copyrighted their creepiness, and holding it up to the light of day for public scrutiny is somehow plagiarism too. Sort of calls into question any instance of her determination of what plagiarism is, IMHO.

Well nice to see some people still haven't grown up and are holding on to their delusions like a Linus blanket. Some things never change, it's quite sad really.

I read the entire page. I have to admit that I'm very concerned about this stalker issue. Not to mention that I'm wondering if RS is going to be branded with the same type of scrutiny and criticism. This is just another reason why you just can't take the fandom so seriously. It's a very interesting hobby, but to let it run your life, like these folks have obviously done, is extremely unhealthy.

Am I the only person the link doesn't work for? Damn. But reading over some of the archives was highly amusing ...

The board system has a facility to hide messages and guessing on the message being given out that is what has happened to that thread.

Ah, well. Luckily I saved the pages, including the one where she said:
Shit... I was equally tossed out... but I caused trouble on the way out. I e-mailed the firm Heidi was at and ASKED if what she said was legally sound... (They remember that too. Shortly after it, Heidi moved to NY I think...)

Tabi, btw, I am only posting this here so you can use it for educational purposes. Or possibly in the interest of reporting news. Think I can make it under the Fair Use Limbo Pole?
