The gay-rights law here in Miami-Dade was upheld.
My friend Jon won his primary in NYC, which pretty much means that he'll win the election in November.
And now the personal:
Everyone, please stay safe today - every day, of course, but today is such a day of reflection and of course, we're on that heightened alert - so it's probably on our minds a bit more today.
FAP has changed its front page, as has the Leaky Cauldron - if you do visit FA, you might want to take a few minutes to read or post in the Memorials section, which we set up on the 12th of September last year, and which contains the original Scribbulus threads, posted in realtime, when we didn't know what was going on. Or you can look over HPfGU or OT Chatter.
I know there were threads on SugarQuill and on other boards from the 11th, but I'm having a hard time finding them now, without the easy-to-use Yahoogroups start-on-any-month feature, so if people know the urls for those, please post them here - or perhaps I should start a thread on
