Edited on March 12, 2008 to explain (I was going through and tagging things and realised this would make no sense out of context).
In December of 2001, two members of HPfGU - a guy whose first name begins with a D and a gal whose first name begins with an S (they were long distance dating at the time) hacked into
pennylin's Yahoo account and deleted all the HPfGU lists that she was the admin for, including HPforGrownups, but thankfully not HPFGU-OTChatter. They had both developed a lot of senseless animosity for
folk (some believe that D was homophobic) and eventually admitted to having hacked into *his* account in December, 2001.
We managed to get the various HPfGU lists restored thanks to some amazing help from the folks at Yahoo, but what I was ranting about in this post was the deletion of the main list - if you'd clicked on the above url on that day, you would have been told that there was nothing there.
