A Variety of Pics

Spoiler warning for stills from SPN 5.04.

The fact that Route 666 is playing in the movie theater means that Chuck got a movie deal for the SPN book series, and clearly one of the signs of the apocalypse was that Chad Michael Murray played Dean in the films.
Also, Castiel in jeans with minions and a Buddha behind him? Adorable.
Dean with the thigh holster, otoh? [ ] (In other words, I have no words for that.)
Also, Universal sent me the photo I took with Tom Felton last week. He's an absolute sweetheart and is so gung ho about the WWoHP!

I'm not normally into the trending topics of cleverness on Twitter, but at least 65% of the #1999icebreakers are amusing. So far.
I was exhausted so I fell asleep during the Hiro At the Carnival scene, and felt ludicrously guilty about it, because I was actually into the show, but I'd been up since about 2 AM as my youngest has the croup, so by 11:30 (I had DVR-ed the show) I just couldn't stay up anymore.
But I loved the Peter storyline, the way they're handling Sylar in Matt's Head *and* Nathan in Sylar's body are terrific, and they are actually working to bring the carnival people in by having them interact immediately with longtime characters, in contrast to the ridiculously bad introduction of Maya & her brother whose name I can't even remember anymore.
And Kimiko! I remember shipping Kimiko/Peter at one point in early 2007 and calling it PetKo (that was back when Claude was calling him a puppy) but it's just terrific that they are being consistent about *something* in bringing her back. Not thrilled about Matt having forgotten Daphne, or, for that matter, MOLLY, but I am afraid that she looks too old now for them to bring her back. Alas.
Heroes, you're my favorite soap opera, and as long as the show mostly focuses on Petrellis (and yes, I include Sylar among them because I am still not 100% convinced that Angela isn't his birth mother and yes I can fanwank it to actually work) I will watch it forever.
