Let the black wheels fly over...

[Poll #1739069]

And yes, the subject line means I'm mentally vidding last night's episode of Supernatural. Not the ship you'd expect, though. Maybe.

I said neither because in my perfect world, Firefly would still be running, and Badger would be a permanent fixture on Serenity.

Reasonable reasoning. But had Firefly continued, would we have had Doctor Horrible?

I... I...

Yes! Possibly! Because The Guild was kind of what inspired him, and Firefly continuing wouldn't have impacted on that. Unless more Firefly tied Felicia Day to the TV and not to her computer writing... They could have totally done Dr. Horrible in the hiatus between seasons 7 and 8 of Firefly.

Besides...the chances of Firefly still running by the time Dr. Horrible was bestowed upon us is rather slim, sadly.

Meep, too much heavy thinking for a Saturday afternoon!

Also, thinking about it logically, as you did, the Writers' Strike would still have happened, hence the circumstances surrounding the creation of Doctor Horrible would still have manifested. So yes, absent Felicia not creating The Guild because she was off Browncoating, it still would have existed in some form.

Or we would have had StarshipTroopers-esque Neil Patrick Harris in his Coat of Doom crossed over into the Firefly-verse, which would have been amazing, in and of itself.

I was conflicted because the 'both' option was right there, whispering 'you don't have to choooose', but in the end I went for Doctor Who. Which isn't at all to say that I don't love Crowley! Or even that I don't love Crowley as much as I love Canton. But I think regular Canton would improve Doctor Who more than regular Crowley would improve Supernatural.

Your logic is logical!

I'm torn between wanting him to continue to be on ALL THE THINGS and wanting him to finally have his OWN DAMN SHOW. But as I watch neither of these shows I had to vote that way.

Mark Sheppard is like Enver Gjokaj - He needs to be in everything ever.

That said, I don't watch Supernatural, so I picked Doctor Who. I SO want a season with Canton as a full time companion.

I had to say Doctor Who, mostly because I don't watch SPN and just want more Mark Sheppard.

Though I"m not too fond of how low and gruff his voice gets with the american accent...

So.... LEVERAGE!

FULL TIME STERLING? *brain twirls* That is almost as good as my Firefly-still-going plan.

Don't get me wrong, because I love ANY AND ALL CROWLEYS. I have the tattoo to prove it. But man, is Canton a bamf. I'm voting him for next companion.

If I ran the world, I would also revive Firefly and The Middleman from the dead and have him guest star abundantly on both. More Mark Sheppard in any sci-fi show is always a good thing. :)

I, like some PP's, always think "Badger" whenever I see Mark Sheppard, but I do love him in SPN and DW right now.
