Last year, I so desperately wanted to get to London for the Groban/Menzel/Pascal performance of Chess, but between for various reasons involving family health issues, it didn't happen. I caught clips over the past year on youtube but the quality was always problematic, and of course, there was no flow from one clip into the next.

Luckily, not only is PBS airing it next week, it's coming out on DVD and on CD and it looks like it'll be on iTunes too! NEXT TUESDAY!

And am I the only one who'd be curious to see it back on Broadway with Adam Lambert and Kris Allen trading the roles of Freddie and Anatoly nightly, or at least weekly? No, I don't know how Kris is as an actor, but it doesn't *really* matter, does it?

Also, I finally posted my livelongnmarry vid last night. It was a request by yourlibrarian for a Sam-centric vid set to Robert Plant's Tall Cool One, and it is spoilery through 4.22 - there's a little easter egg after the credits from 4.22, actually.

Is huge shame you didn't make it. A full orchestra and big fuck off choir doing 'Anthem' was just...a musical orgasm.

Nice icon! I am just finishing reading The Fire now. Since you are the only other person I know who has read The Eight what did you think of the sequel? I was disappointed!
