Happy birthday! The Contemp is near and dear to my heart...I think I stayed there four straight trips from 1983 to 1995. Skyscraper-size murals + monorail = WIN.

I have fond memories of when I stayed at the Contemporary a few years ago. I love the renovated rooms, especially the faux fireplace/hearth thingy and the workspace area.

I'm curious -- on your birthday, did you use Disney's free one-day admission ticket, or did you take the fastpass or the merchadise card? I'm eyeing Disneyland for my birthday in September, and I'm still juggling the different options.
