Tonight...

I just....

He spoke wonderfully, and it is getting late and we are all tired - even
he is, after that 2 hour q&a today in Boca.

I know so many of you love him so - and others of you don't. I am in awe
of him in many ways, I respect him and I know he will do so much as
president.

I knew a year ago that I would support and work for whoever is the
democratic nominee, so Senator Obama has all I can give.

Tonight was fascinating and I hope to see him again through the
campaign.

There are plenty of successful politicians...

...but not that many with It.

JFK had It. Ronald Reagan had It. Bill Clinton had It. And Big B? Has IT.

I figured this day would come the minute I saw him speak in Boston in 2004 - I just didn't think it would be this quickly. But I guess when it happens, it happens fast (TM). ;]

I'm going to see him tomorrow when he's at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise. Soexcited - 3rd time hearing him speak! Apparently I am going for a record or something. :D

Oooh, excellent! It looks like it's going to be a fantastic event - they were hing out cards for it last night - it's Barak On Ice (but not like Walt Disney is!)

Yay you!

Nawww, all I can think when I see him is "Ohh, he looks so skinny! DAMN YOU HOLLYWOOD, GIVING YOUR ACTRESSES EATING DISORDERS."

And then I remember he's a Presidental Party Candidate person and not a pretty young waif. XD

[identity profile] heidi8.livejournal.com 2008-05-23 11:35 am (UTC)(link)
He *is* that skinny and it freaked me out a bit. He needs to eat more! Not like Bill, but a few bagels would go a long way on that man.

FANTASTIC! I'm so jealous! (And, boy, does he need your help in Florida. Eeek.)

I think yesterday's Q&A was a major opinion-mover for him. People need to understand that he isn't the first choice for a lot of people (I mean, my first choice was Edwards!) but he'll get a lot of support in this next stage by appealing to people who are completely desperate for change, for a non-Republican administration, even if the person at the head of it isn't necessarily who we wanted last November.

I was looking at Edwards, too. *sad*

It's looking like it's going to be Obama, but... I'm curious. Are you more for Obama or Clinton? I'm going to Dem either way, but it's kinda still just the lesser of the evils to me. :(

Awesome! :-)

Fabulous. He never made it to my mountain burgh during the NC primary. Bill and Hilary both came. She won the western part of the state, but Barack took MY county.

I predict you are still going to get your man Edwards on a ticket. I think Obama needs him for the blue collar voters.
