On July 31, I'm going to be joining Jenna from DanRadcliffe.com at the Ft Lauderdale Museum of Discovery & Science for some "birthday" events before the 4:15 showing of Prisoner of Azkaban on the museum's IMAX screen.

Join us there in the afternoon - and feel free to wear a costume. There will be prizes and other fun things going on, including a costume contest, trading card giveaways and cake! We're also going to be signing a huge birthday card for J.K. Rowling herself, and Jenna from DR.com and I (on behalf of FA & TLC) will be MC-ing the film and helping run the pre-show events.

The events start at 2:00 pm, and admission + the movie will be $12.00 for kids and $14.00 for adults.

You can (and you really should!) preorder tickets before Friday - you can call 954 713 0930 to order your tickets - the office is open between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm. Hope to see some of you there!

Another event I can't attend as I blew all my money on Philly and PoA in NYC.

Eeeee. I could take the Tri-Rail down to Lauderdale and catch a bus to the museum-- that's what I did the last time I went, which was a couple of years ago-- but I am so not going down alone and I really can't think of anyone who would come with me, and I think I might have plans Saturday and WAH. I think I'm going to have to miss this one. Someday, I will get to one of these HP meetups! Have fun, though! :D

This is coming sort of late (I just got back from a trip), but I'm going to do my best to get there Saturday! I don't live far from the theater at all, so the only thing I'd have to worry about is who would want to join me... I'm so excited!
