Unfortunatly I still haven't been able to check it out, as both of my CD drives have decided to die. I can say that I love the art on the CD, though! Also that, for some reason, I thought it was going to be an audio CD of recordings from the conference, heh! Thanks again.
Mine too! It looks very cool. My daughter wants to read the papers, too. ::whistles:: Okay, I'm not a huge fan of censorship, as many folks know, but I will probably have to pick and choose which ones would not be inappropriate for an almost-ten-year-old, even an extremely precocious one...
Got mine! I only got to read one essay while I was at work, but it was very user friendly. I'm really looking forward to spending some time poring over all the papers and just generally geeking out.
Nimbus CDRoms? That sounds so cool! Do all attendees get them, or were we supposed to order them at some point? I don't recall seeing anything about it in the past...
hi! i got my nimbus 2003 cd rom in the mail a couple of days ago.. thank you so much! i did nimbus last year for my birthday and so getting the cd was like an unexpected bday present!
one question: i was wondering where you got the nifty little cd mailer envelopes? :) cheers!
Which leads me to a suggestion for future HPEF events… we received three CDs, but we only needed one. Perhaps some options for how you'd like to receive the papers. As many different formats as you guys want to have, but with an option for none. We figured it'd be more cost-effective, but I don't know how these things work.
