XM Radio! YAY! We never did get to chat about it, but I did make a post right after I got it installed with a whole bunch of links and general squeeing.
Yes, I remember, which is one of the reasons I think we're going for that instead of Sirius, although on one level, I would love to be able to look up and see SIRIUS in the car at any given moment.
Am jealous ... we're still in the throes of looking. I've gotta get my old one fixed up enough to trade in, bah...don't have time.....ARGH.
You will love your van, and it doesn't mean you are old or uncool (no matter what Randy says ... he's trying to squish us all into something sportier, I can't get past the "he's touching me" whines)
It says you are smart and sensible enough not to fall for the gigundo SUV trend. :)
I would actually love a massive SUV, but I need an easy-to-get-into third row, which wouldn't require climbing over seats, and afaik, that means a minivan. I am happy enough with it, though. A blue honda - haha - that's what I drove in law school - but this is more than a little larger!
my brother cried the day he had to buy his. I tried to tell him that it doesn't *look* all that different from his monster SUV. Apparently, he thinks it does.
Personally, my first car was a minivan, in which I learned to drive, and which I drove for seven years until she died. She came in handy for theatre usage.q
Sadly enough, I miss my minivan, which was traded last year for a SUV. Owning a mini van is not the end of the world, think of it as an opportunity to cram as many people in there as possible.
No really! We had one for my entire childhood... and my parents sold it and bought a Neon right before I learned to drive. Boy was I bummed -- I was looking forward to being able to drive all my friends around. I guess my parents probably thought of that, heh.
There are a few people in this world that DON'T need a car that boosts their coolness factor. You my dear, are one of them. Go ahead, tell me you're just like other soccer moms, I won't believe it.

Off to school, then mommy and me class! Jamie has swimming today.
We're sad, aren't we?
Does your soccermobile have a DVD player?
