Actually, a tonne of spoilers.

oh, this *movie*.

It wasn't just a movie. For many it's half their life. Oneof the fans in Trafalgar had a sign that said, Ms Rowling, thank you for my childhood." But even for those of us who're 40, Harry Potter has impacted and changed so many moments for a third of my life. I started dabbling with HP when I was 27 years old, and it'll be thirteen years in November.

So, of course, I cried. During the movie, I cried when Neville was the most amazing person in the world and when Narcissa put her son over her husband for what was probably the first overt time. Dean and Seamus with Aberforth in the end, and Harry's investigations throughout. When Harry sat at Dobby's grave, and when Sirius and Lily told Harry what he needed to hear.

And, oh Snape. Even here, I don't want to be completely spoilery about the scenes in the pensive, so I will just compliment little Sirius's curly hair and little Severus making things fly. It brings everything together and makes the epilogue perfect.

There are surprises with Neville and Luna, horrible moments thatbmade me gasp and cry, and a few things that fall flat, like Harry and Ginny's non-interactive behaviour in the epilogue and his attitude towards her at Hogwarts, especially when contrasted with - please, bear with me, the warmth between Ron and Hermione. Their kiss didn't work contextually for me, but their relationship did, although really, if this film did anything for me along those lines, it solidified why I have really become a trio-shipper. The same way I loved Ron in the DH book, I loved him here, and the way he and Hermione and Harry work so well together.

I don't want ton talk about the precise spell/curse Molly uses on Bellatrix but "not my daughter" is perfect, even if I am slightly troubled by one of the curses Molly uses, and I'm curious if anyone else has the same issue, or even notices. I'll post about it next weekend.

And, oh Draco. You idiotic, terrified, finally honest child. Jason Isaacs is a complete Draco redemptionist, and I need to transcribe the brief interview I got to be a part of with him. Tom isn't as convinced that Draco's a good guy but it's left so ambiguous and my GOD the broom scene!!! A million slash fics cried out in joy and were never to be silenced.

I think those are all the spoilers I want to put into here but I'm happy to answer any specific questions if people have concerns or things that you need to know before you see it. But not about the Pensieve. You need to see it all.

i dont even know what "contextually" means. but i'm hoping it's not synonym with "bad" "lackluster" or disapointed"

having said that- THE kiss.
I dont care if you spoil it to me as i have heard horrific things from people who "supposedly" seen the film and as a decade long ron-hermione shipper it wrecks me to know.

i dont want to know if it was as Epic as every ron/hermione shipper hoped for (as thar is relative to each person)

what i do want to know are these details:

considering how short it was- did it really showed Ron and Hermione were truly and madly in love with each other- wether passion or tender true love.

it has been said that Ron's head block most of it,
now is it Bad, BAD BADDDDD block/obscured faces like the lavender/ron kiss or the ginny/Harry kiss from part 1?

or partial block you can see both their faces a little- like the harry-cho one?.

is there any moment when their perspective is like this:

and the same people who said the kiss is blocked/obscured also said that Actual shown lip-on-lip contact lasts aproximately 1-2 seconds

are those enough for the person viewing it to absorb it into their memory? or the "blink and you missed it"?

also there's mention of a giggle. is it bad giggle- obvious "laugh on camera ruin take" kind of giggle or it blends with the mood and the characters.

overall in a scale of 1-10 how good was it? (here's hoping better than 4-5)

I have a lot of things i dont want spoiled,

however this is important enough to me to want to know so I can brace myself to be underwhelmed when i see it if these are true

so im asking please, from the bottom of my shipper's heart. please answer?

Contextually means, here, the scene/moment in which it happened. I don't know how many seconds it was but it was definitely not blink and miss it. And they were both portrayed as totally into it. Yes, Hermione's face wad obscured but my friend who saw it with me but isn't in fandom said it was sweet and awkward. But in retrospect there was no other moment for it.

i does help, but i kind of need more specification than that.

when you say how many seconds it was- you mean THE ENTIRE kiss/kiss scene OR how long you see their lips touching.

lastly, when you're friend said "awkard" does she mean "erm... this is reallly kind of like... whut?" or just "aww cute teenage romance first kiss" awkard?

what i mean is, was it memorable, solid?

or if it ever has to compete with the horcrux kiss for best kiss the horcrux kiss will beat it no doubt about it.

I mean, I'm already sad/angry that the horcrux kiss was much longer. i dont want it to on top of that it be better.

I'm prrtty much on handheld only and can't see the images, but here's the upside and downside: it was definitely memorable and the focus of the film for the moments where it's taking place, but compared to the Pensieve scene in Godric's Hollow, I'm not sure it's not what anyone but shippers will be talking about afterward.

Given the epilogue, it's obviously not temporary teen romance, and it's very different from Ron's interactions with Lavender (poor girl) but, well, you need to see it. And I'm curious what your reaction will be now!

(and i hope the hermione punching malfoy is not your sentiments about my repeated question- if it is i'm sorry. it's just this kiss is very, very important to me and i'm already sad it's going to be the shortest of kisses, i dont want to feel sad of what' left of it)

(and the "downside" (compared to the pensieve,etc) doesn't bother me in the least.
i hope for GOOD, Memorable kiss, but i'm not so obsessed over it to think it would be more high regarded than scenes like the forest again, king cross,etc

Well, as I am very Roncentric, and I was happy with it - it exceeded expectations - I didn't expect to scream, as I don't like Emma's Hermione and wasn't actually looking forward to the kiss.

I was kind of afraid he was an editing victim since he and Meg are in the US and weren't at the premiere. Sigh. Double sigh.
